Contact
Whether you’re moving to Portland, leaving it, or simply curious about a Portland house, a street, or the architect behind it, I’d love to hear from you.
Email me at debbie@coastline840.com or call (310) 362-6429. I’m Debbie Pisaro, a California real estate agent (DRE #01369110) and founder of Coastline 840. I’m not licensed in Oregon: if you’re moving to Portland or leaving it, I’ll connect you with a licensed Oregon broker who knows the neighborhood. I reply to every new inquiry within one business day.
Coastline 840 is a brand of Side, Inc., CA DRE #02014153, responsible broker.
Debbie is not licensed in Oregon; Portland buyers and sellers are referred to licensed Oregon brokers.
Reach out by path
Different questions need different starting points. Pick the one that fits, and tell me as much or as little as you like.
Moving to Portland
Tell me which part of the city draws you (a close-in east side bungalow street, the West Hills, Northwest near Forest Park, or somewhere you haven’t picked yet), the kind of house you love and your timing. I’ll connect you with a licensed Oregon broker who knows that neighborhood, and they’ll take it from there. If you’re still deciding, start with the neighborhood guides.
Leaving Portland
If you own a home in Portland and you’re thinking about selling, send me a few lines about the house and your plans. I’ll introduce you to a licensed Oregon broker who works in your part of the city. If your next stop is California, I can help you on that end myself.
A question about a Portland house or architect
Want to know who designed a house, how to research its history, or what a historic district means for a property? Ask. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll tell you where to look. The Portland 411 page collects the city and county resources I point people to most, and Field Notes covers the architects, from John Yeon to Pietro Belluschi.
Buying or selling in California
California is where I’m licensed, and where I can help you directly, whether you’re heading south from Portland or selling a California home before a move north. My architectural homes practice is at debbiepisaro.com; statewide, see coastline840.com.
Press, speaking, and editorial
For interviews or editorial collaborations on Portland architecture, historic homes, or California real estate, email me with the publication, deadline, and topic.
Ask about a house, a street or an architect. If I don’t know, I’ll tell you where to look.
How a Portland referral works
Real estate licenses are issued state by state. Mine is from California, so in Oregon I make introductions rather than representing anyone.
- You reach out: by email or phone, with your plans, the part of the city you’re considering, and your timing.
- I make the introduction: to a licensed Oregon broker who knows that neighborhood, who then works with you directly.
- No cost to you for the introduction: if you go on to work with that broker, any referral fee is paid through my California broker, Side, Inc.
